Canopeo-Field is an open-source, non-commercial crop monitoring tool. Use of this application is governed by the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 and the additional terms below.

Use by or on behalf of a for-profit entity in furtherance of commercial activities is not permitted without a separate written agreement.
The app works fully offline and data stored only on your device remains entirely under your control. Uploading is optional if you configure the upload settings.
Images and observations you submit to a Canopeo-Field server will be visible on the public dashboard and licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0 (Attribution, Non-Commercial). Uploaded data may be retained indefinitely for research and educational purposes, even if you later request account deletion. By submitting data you confirm you have the right to share it and grant the server operator a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and use it for research and educational purposes. Only upload images from fields where you have permission to share data publicly.
Images submitted to a Canopeo-Field server must be relevant to crop and field observation. Submission of inappropriate, offensive, or unrelated content may result in the removal of the content, revocation of your upload token, and deactivation of your account.
Canopeo-Field is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The developers make no representations about the accuracy of canopy-cover estimates or any other outputs. Do not rely on Canopeo-Field outputs for decisions with significant consequences without independent verification.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Canopeo-Field shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this application.
Observations exported or published from Canopeo-Field should credit the Canopeo-Field project and the original data collector where feasible.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Canopeo-Field after a version change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you decline, you will not be able to use the application.
